Hernando County had spent more than a decade seeking a workable path to dredge its navigation channel without triggering turbidity exceedances that would stall federal and state permits. BCPeabody engineered an environmentally sound sediment-management approach, coordinated USACE and FDEP review, and executed the dredging on an accelerated timeline.
